PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Hello Otters,

Thank you to all of our families for joining us at Wednesday's sing-along. We celebrated Unity and Friendship with some of our favorite songs. We are seeking parent musicians for our sing alongs! If you play an instrument and/or sing and have interest in accompanying us musically in our future sing alongs please email Ms. Cohen at icohen@ausdk12.org

On Thursday, we were visited by the company BikeMobile. They came to our school to do repairs on bikes for our community members. Thank you to Coach Renee for setting up this program at our school.

Please stop by the lost-n-found and check to see if your students' items may be hiding in there. All items will be donated on Friday, 10/24/25.

Parade Viewing - Families and friends are welcome to attend Ocean View’s annual Halloween Parade. The parade viewing areas are outside of school grounds in the coned off drop-off lane in front of the school, and in front of the parked cars in the North Staff Lot. The parade will travel along the sidewalk in front of the school and the exact time for the parade will be announced soon.

Halloween is a full day, no early dismissal. At the conclusion of the 1st-5th grade parade, after all grades have returned to their classroom, we will open the gates and if parents need to sign their child out early, then parents can go directly to their student's classroom to sign out with their teacher. Please check-in with your teacher, as many will be holding their Halloween festivities after the parade.
