AUSD Parents, Students & Staff:
Today we were notified that an Albany High School student was approached by a man in a vehicle near San Pablo and Portland as she was walking to school. The individual pulled alongside her and started showing her inappropriate images from his phone. The student ignored the man and arrived at school safely. Her parents and the police were notified along with Albany High School administration. The following is a description:
- Black 4-door vehicle: license plate beginning with 6AT
- White male in 30’s, pale complexion, short dark black/brown hair, dark colored eyes, stubbly short dark brown beard, chubby face, and approximately 180-200 lbs.

Please remind students that if they are approached by a stranger to get to safety first and then immediately inform you, their teacher, or principal. Any suspicious activity should be immediately reported to the school and Albany Police at (510) 525-7300.
