Anti-Blackness, Systemic Racism, and Anti-Racism Parenting

We are honored to have Dr. A. Breeze Harper speak to us on “Anti-Blackness, Systemic Racism, and Anti-Racism Parenting.” Engagement with parents will be through interactive exercises in breakout rooms and actionable strategies and resources for parents to take with them and employ at home.
Dr. Harper has a PhD in the social sciences, with emphasis in intersectionality, anti-racism and racial-gender inclusion/equity. She holds a MA from Harvard University. She has 15+ years career experience as a diversity, equity, and inclusion expert. Dr. Harper is the founder of an innovative inclusion, diversity, and equity consulting firm called Critical Diversity Solutions. She has written several books, including Scars: A Black Lesbian Experience in Rural White New England (Sense Publishers 2014) and Seeds of Sankofa (Brill Press 2021).
