Dear Ocean View Families: Help make your children's school even greater next year! Elections for next year's board and officers of the Ocean View School Parent Teacher Association (PTA) will be held at the next PTA general meeting on Thursday, April 19 at 7:00 P.M in the school library. The PTA supports our school's diverse students, families, teachers, and staff through outreach, advocacy, and fundraising for academic and enrichment programs that benefit all students at Ocean View School.The PTA board includes the following elected positions: President, Vice president(s), Recording Secretary, Corresponding secretary, Treasurer, Financial secretary, Auditor. Several of these positions are currently open, and new board members are always welcome! If you are interested in joining the PTA Board and being nominated for one of these positions, or have questions about their roles, please contact me at: [email protected].
Your PTA needs you. Ocean View School students and teachers need the support of a strong PTA. Here is just some of what our PTA supports at Ocean View: class field trips, school assemblies, after-school math, online reading (Raz kids) and math (Dreambox) programs, chess, art, poetry, Walk & Roll to School, gardening, and classroom emergency supplies.
Join the PTA Board. Together we can make next school year even better for our children at Ocean View School!
