MEETING OF PARCEL TAX COMMITTEE

NEXT MEETING OF PARCEL TAX COMMITTEE (TO RENEW MEASURE I): The next meeting will be held at Albany High School, Room 201 on Monday, February 3 at 7:30 pm. Measure I generates $1.3 million for AUSD and is scheduled to expire in July 2015. The AUSD has not yet decided when it will place the measure on the ballot, but it will very likely occur at some point in 2014, possibly as early as June. A representative of the firm that has been hired to assist the district with development of the measure will give a presentation. All interested parents and community members are invited to attend to learn more about the importance of renewing this source of dedicated, local funding for our schools and how they can help.
