CELEBRATE AMERICA RECYCLES DAY: Join Waste Management, Stopwaste, and the East Bay Depot for Creative Reuse at the Davis Street Transfer Station in San Leandro at 2615 Davis Street to celebrate America Recycles Day on Saturday, November 16, 2013 from 10am-2pm. Get a tour of the facility where your trash, recycling and organic waste are transferred and enjoy a host of fun activities for kids and families. You can also drop off electronic waste and pick up a free bag of compost!
