PARENT EDUCATION EVENING: GENDER DIVERSITY: On Tuesday, December 4th, 6-7:30 pm, in the Cornell School Multipurpose Room, Joel Baum, MS, Director of Education at Gender Spectrum, will lead a workshop entitled “Diversity, Gender and Children: Inclusive Schools for All Students”, that will help parents gain a fuller understanding of gender diversity. While there has been a great deal of attention in recent years to transgender children and youth, this workshop is focused on gender as it relates to all young people, and as such, all parents will gain important insights from the session. The evening will feature presentation, discussion, video, as well as questions and answers. Childcare will be available, but RSVP is required.
