Parent Education Event--Must RSVP

PARENT EDUCATION EVENT: Does your child ever buy lunch at school? Do you have a picky eater? Are you curious about the school lunch program in the Albany elementary schools? Please save this date and join us for our first Parent Education Event of the year on Thursday, October 18th from 6:30-8 PM (Marin School) and enjoy a delicious light supper prepared by Chef Clell Hoffman, Food Services Director for AUSD. We’ll learn about his vision for the future of Nutrition Services as he discusses the issues and choices that go into creating healthy lunches every day for our children. We’ll also feature filmmaker and Marin parent, Helen De Michiel’s short films from her “Lunch Love Community project” and hear about the gardening and cooking curriculum at Marin School. Q & A will follow. Free childcare provided at Tupelo, sign-up in the office, limited space available.
