Breakfast & Lunch Information
Free Breakfast
All students may get one free breakfast and one free lunch per day, regardless of eligibility for free or reduced price meals. Breakfast includes one entree item plus fruit and milk. Lunch includes one entree item plus garden bar and milk. Menus can be found on the MENUS page of the Albany School Food Project website. Breakfast service begins at 7:45am in the Multipurpose Room.
Lunch
All students may get one free breakfast and one free lunch per day, regardless of eligibility for free or reduced price meals.
TK and Kindergarten students: Take-out lunches can be picked up between 11:00 am - 11:20 am only.
- TK & Kinders who are in our after school program will have the opportunity to eat lunch during their program hours.
- For TK & Kindergarten students who are not in aftercare, parents are welcome to come to the cafeteria and receive a take-out lunch prior to picking up your student from AM TK & K, or prior to dropping off your student to PM TK & K. Due to overlap with our 1st-5th grade lunch schedules, we ask that take-out lunches be eaten off campus. Ocean View Park has picnic tables and a play area offering a great place for a play date as well.
Vegetarian Meals
Once each month’s menu is posted on the website, you may order for the entire month. Please use our online ordering system, located on the MENUS page. Orders must be placed by Sunday evening. If you miss the deadline please contact Chef Sabina directly: [email protected] or 510-558-2608.
Milk
Home lunch students may purchase milk separately for $0.50. However, this transaction can only occur via a student's lunch account. To put money on your student's account, you must use MySchoolBucks.
