AEF FUNDRAISER AT BARNES & NOBLE FOR SCHOOL LIBRARY—SATURDAY, DECEMBER 2ND Every year, the Albany Education Foundation hosts a Shopping Day at the El Cerrito Plaza Barnes & Noble to benefit site libraries. Tomorrow, Saturday, December 2nd, AEF will receive a % of what you spend that day, and returns this to the libraries as book credit. Also there will be a display of items requested by each site. Parents and community members who want to make an additional donation, may purchase a book as a gift for the Ocean View library. Almost everything counts - Cafe purchases of coffee, books, magazines, LEGOS, etc etc, all count AS LONG AS THE SHOPPER PROVIDES OUR NAME OR OUR CODE # 12171393. Shoppers do NOT have to have the paper slip, but must tell the cashier that their purchase is to benefit AEF. Purchases of gift cards are excluded. AEF will have people in the store between 9 am and 6 pm to help with site requests and to provide free gift wrapping of purchases. We hope to have Key Club and 8th grade students helping.
