10/22: Fall Festival & Walk-a-thon – Mark your calendars -- this year's Fall Festival & Walk-a-thon has been moved from October 15 to Saturday, October 22nd so as not to conflict with the 3-day weekend. The Festival is 11 am to 3pm (the Walk-a-thon is 11 am to 12:30 pm) on the Ocean View Playground. This is Ocean View's biggest fundraiser, with an emphasis on fun for the whole family. Entrance is free and you can purchase tickets for the activities, games and food. Please let us know if you’d like to donate a good or service to the silent auction, or if you have an idea for a new activity or game you could help build and run. Here's what you can look forward to:
- Carnival games with prizes: golf put, skee ball, football toss, duck pond, ring toss, and more!
- Activities: Pumpkin patch, pumpkin decorating, henna, glitter tattoos, and beading.
- Silent auction: Over 40 items including Disneyland Hopper tickets!
- Food: BBQ, Martha's Mexican Food, pizza, sushi, bake sale and more!
- Walk-a-thon: Students will be walking proudly around a track for their school, with a DJ providing fun music.
